Where It All Began
Yigoshade traces its roots back to 2007, when a small group of umbrella makers in Shangyu, Zhejiang Province came together with a simple goal: build practical, well-made shade products that people could actually rely on outdoors. What started as a modest workshop has since grown into Shaoxing Yigo Leisure Products Co., Ltd., an integrated design-to-sales manufacturer based in Xindaijia Village, Xietang Town, Shangyu District, Shaoxing City.
Today, our team has grown to over 100 people, working across a factory covering more than 4,000 square meters. But even as we've grown, the mindset hasn't changed — we're still a group of people who genuinely care about getting the details right, from the stitching on a picnic mat to the way an order gets packed and shipped.

Beach umbrellas and picnic mats happen to be where our online store currently focuses — because they're two of the most essential things almost any beach day calls for: solid overhead shade, and a comfortable, easy-to-clean spot to sit that doesn't leave you covered in sand.
Why We Started an Online Store
For years, our products were mostly sold through wholesale and distributor channels, which meant we rarely got to hear directly from the people actually using them at the beach, in the backyard, or on the patio. We started Yigoshade as a direct-to-customer online store so we could close that gap — shipping products straight from our own U.S. warehouse, cutting out unnecessary middlemen, and hearing feedback directly from real customers instead of through several layers of resellers.
In short, we wanted a more honest, more direct relationship with the people who use our products every day.
How We Work
Our team is organized around three core areas: product development and design, quality control and inspection, and day-to-day store operations. We've put a standardized quality management process in place across our factory, so that every stage — from raw materials to final packaging — follows a consistent, repeatable process rather than guesswork.
We won't claim our products are flawless, because no manufacturer honestly can. What we can say is that we test, inspect, and refine our designs based on real-world use, and we stand behind our products with a straightforward shipping and return process if something isn't right.
