At Yigoshade, we want you to feel confident about your purchase. If something isn't quite right, this page walks you through exactly how our return and refund process works, what's eligible, and what to expect at each step.

Return Eligibility Window

We accept returns within 30 calendar days of the date your order is delivered. This gives you plenty of time to unbox your beach umbrella or picnic mat, take a closer look, and decide whether it's the right fit for you.

During certain seasonal periods — for example, around the December holidays — we may temporarily extend this return window to give customers more flexibility with gift purchases. If we do offer a seasonal extension, we will announce the updated dates clearly on our website ahead of time.

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received them
  • In their original packaging
  • With all original tags and accessories still attached/included
  • Free of noticeable wear, damage, sand residue, or signs of outdoor use

Beach umbrellas that have been assembled and set up outdoors, or picnic mats that have been laid out and used on sand, grass, or other outdoor surfaces, may not qualify for a return, as this affects our ability to resell the product.

What's Eligible for Return

We accept returns for the following situations:

  • Change of mind (buyer's remorse): If you simply decide the product isn't what you expected, you're welcome to return it as long as it meets the condition requirements above.
  • Non-defective items: If the item arrived in good working condition but you'd like to send it back for any reason, this is accepted within our 30-day window.
  • Defective or damaged items: If your product arrived damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make it right.

Please note that all products sold by Yigoshade are standard, ready-made items — we do not offer personalized or made-to-order products, so every item is eligible under the same return guidelines above.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene, safety, and quality-control reasons, we're unable to accept returns on:

  • Beach umbrellas that have been set up, opened, or used outdoors
  • Picnic mats that have been unfolded and used outdoors, or that have been washed
  • Items missing original parts, such as umbrella poles, stakes, carry bags, or storage pouches
  • Products showing visible tears, stains, sand/dirt residue, or wear from outdoor use
  • Items returned after the 30-day window has passed

Who Pays for Return Shipping

  • If the product has a manufacturing defect or was damaged/incorrect upon arrival: Yigoshade covers the full cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse your shipping cost, so you won't pay anything out of pocket.
  • If the product is not defective and you're returning it for a personal reason (buyer's remorse or simply changed your mind): the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us. We do not provide a prepaid label in this case.

No Restocking or Handling Fees

We don't believe in charging you extra just to process a return. There are no restocking fees, no handling fees, and no hidden charges for any eligible return — you'll only ever be responsible for return shipping costs when the return isn't due to a defect on our end.

How to Start a Return

Starting a return is simple:

  1. Contact us first. Email us at service@yigoshade.com or call us at +1 (680) 224-4052 within 30 calendar days of delivery. Please include your order number and a brief description of the reason for return (and photos, if the item is damaged or defective).
  2. Wait for confirmation. Our support team will review your request, confirm your item is eligible, and provide you with return instructions — including a prepaid shipping label if applicable.
  3. Pack your item securely. Please repackage the product in its original packaging with all tags and accessories included, to help avoid damage during transit.
  4. Ship it back to our return address. Send the package to the address listed below. We recommend using a trackable shipping method for your own peace of mind.
  5. We'll confirm receipt and process your refund. Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we'll notify you by email and begin processing your refund.

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, refunds are processed within 3-5 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional days for the refund to appear on your statement.
